Reflection on The Journey
I did this particular meditation in the evening after a busy day of errands and school work. I found it to be very relaxing and would most probably be an exercise that I would do just before bed to relax my mind and body if I were particularly stressed. I've saved the meditation for future use - so I'm pretty sure that I'll be using it again!

Hi! My name is Carol Kent. I go by the screen name of "srluke". If you're Catholic then you'd recogize this as "Sister Luke"... if you're Protestant then you'd recognize this as "Sir Luke." This goes back to the days when young (and often times old) men would use the annonymity of the internet to harras women. Since then, the name has stuck! It comes from the movie titled "The Nun's Story" about a woman called to the Congo as a nun, and the trials that were laid before her as she attempted to make that journey.
I have always been interested in healing - especially in my line of work as a nurse; and over the years I have come to believe that healing isn't just simply what happens to an individual in a physiological sense. Neither is healing always a cure. We can't always cure the indivual of the condition that ails a person.... BUT we can teach that person to be healed or free of the negative attitudes and behaviors that can keep them from being healed, from experiencing the fullness of their life.
